I love suspense thriller short films. Hair-raising, jaw-dropping and a tight storyline knitting it all together - a recipe for a super-duper suspense thriller! And as they say, "when there's a story to be told - movies are never far behind!"
Here I present four short films that you might want to add to your watch list.
Let's begin!
1. Gutrugoooo
Dr Shyam Prasad (Shridhar KS) has returned to India after being a professor abroad for a long time. It is his first day at the university and, to give a lecture to a Masters in Psychology class looks to be a bit of a challenge. Wait till the end, a twist awaits!
2. Laali
A young mother who is raising her newborn all by herself can be tasking. Her husband leaves her because everything is not as it seems. Something not-so-normal and a rather jaw-dropping tale!
3. Anjali
The film begins with the daily routine of a cab driver, Ganesh (Ajay Raj). A totally drunk Anjali (Nagashree Karkone) gets in, shares the OTP and confirms the location. Their conversations gradually move to topics like life, death and dark secrets. By the end of the ride, Anjali leaves Ganesh baffled with an unknown fear, gripping down his throat.
4. Gallery door
An independent woman who wants to live by her rules and travel the world alone thinks everything is okay. But, is everything good?
